We went underground to try and save London from a maniac in this two-player escape game. Did we succeed, or was this a one-way ticket to our DOOM?

Great things about 2 Tickets 2 Ride
- Not only did the host give us a warm and friendly welcome, he was passionate about the theme and design of the room. After we’d escaped, he enriched the experience by telling us about some of the inspiration for the room and the subtle cultural references embedded in the design.
- This room is built to be taken on by two people, and this is reflected in the challenges on offer. This means that there won’t be just one person doing all the solving – you’ll be putting your teamwork to the test. We found we had to co-operate and communicate more than in any other escape room we’ve tried.
- Being designed for a pair, 2 Tickets 2 Ride is a small room, but what it lacks in square-footage it makes up for in inventiveness. The space is maximised in a clever way, and the visual decor, while not particularly lavish, is well-themed with every detail thought through.
- A feature common to all of Clue Adventures’ rooms is a choice of three difficulty levels, determining how clues are offered and delivered. You choose whether you prefer to explicitly ask for hints, to have the option of a hint offered when the host thinks you might need it, or to have the hint given as soon as you seem stuck.
- 2 Tickets 2 Ride had us wearing headsets, used to communicate with each other (and with the host if necessary) but also to receive key story information. It was a nice touch which fit the theme.
On the other hand…
- As this room has a lot of content to get stuck into, it might not be ideal for your escape room debut.

Any pair of partners-in-crime who want to test their teamwork while trying one of the best escape rooms in London.
