We were called upon to help super-mouse Mr Q thwart vile Professor Blacksheep’s plan to turn all humans into sheep! Which would obviously be a bad thing, and not wonderfully cute and fluffy. How did we fare?

Great things about Revenge of the Sheep
- Revenge of the Sheep has a quirky, original story that links in with clueQuest’s other rooms and carries over into the playful visual design of the room. When so many escape rooms are derivative in terms of theming, it’s refreshing to play one that has a signature style and pulls it off so well.
- The four of us found ourselves very busy for the best part of an hour in this room: there’s a lot to solve and play with and nobody was bored.
- The puzzle design was varied, clever and conducive to cooperation, with some nifty custom-built objects that worked very well.
- Our host was enthusiastic and attentive, and gave us a useful nudge when necessary without making it too easy.
On the other hand…
- This room incorporated AR technology – and it did work, but it was rather picky and had to be operated in exactly the right way, which has the potential to be a bit frustrating.
- For all its technology and fancy custom-built pieces, Revenge of the Sheep is still a padlocky room, and not enough is done to link one puzzle to one lock, to save players having to repeatedly try the same code in multiple places.
Who should try this room?
Revenge of the Sheep is a fun, challenging and distinctive room that’s suitable for families and groups of friends, and we’d recommend it to players who have already enjoyed Operation Blacksheep.
